As the title suggests, I popped out my sprog!
Well, after an induction and 36 hours of labour which then resulted in an emergency c-section she's put me through my paces already - naughty little lady!
I spent a long, very boring week in hospital (although I did have the new Practical Fishkeeping to read which I thoroughly enjoyed!!) and finally settling in at home now so it's about time I got back to lurking on here.

Please say hello to Imogen-Mae, born 8lb 3oz on the 15th August.

My other half has already started plans on a nano-reef for her nursery ;)
She will have no choice but to love fish! Haha.

Wow... 2 weeks old already.  She's adorable Sophie.  You must be proud as punch!

Congrats (and welcome back)!

I am indeed :D And yes.. 2 weeks already, I fully understand now when parents say enjoy the time with her now because it'll fly by!

Congratulations. They're worth the effort, and apparently they're even fussier eaters than most fish fry.

She is gorgeous! I was only thinking about you last week, wondering if you had had her as I hadn't seen you about for a while.

Congratulations!

Yes it flies by, my third is already 7 months :(

Enjoy her :) x

Beautifu!

She must need a massive tank though... how much brine shrimp do you feed her every day?

Lmao!

Congratulations! She is beautiful. My brother and his wife just had twins and I agree the speed that time flies is amazing.

My son is starting 2nd grade this week... seems like just yesterday my wife and I brought him home from the hospital.  So, yes, it does fly by.

The changes during that first year are unbelievable... take lots of pics to document the many stages.... they won't last long.  She'll be rolling over before you know it.

Huge congratulations, Sophie and Partner!

Enjoy every second, it's a fabulous thing to be a mummy or a daddy!

Congrats Sophie! Thats one cute baby!  I wouldn't know about whether that they are worth it or not yet but my Dad always told me that raising me was his hardest challenge but that I was also his greatest accomplishment and he wouldn't trade it for anything else so I assume its very rewarding! Best of luck to you and your partner!

Wow! Just out of curiosity, if you don't mind my asking, did you have a C-section? I ask because it's little head is nigh on perfect and that doesn't often happen unless it's a C-section. If not...you got lucky with a perfect cranium!
