My Hc Won'T Grow...

Hi guys, I have been struggling to grow my HC for a few months and every obvious thing about my tank is correct. The light the co2 and the ferts, the water circulation etc... but it wont grow... From what I read this plant is a soft water plant and I have been trying to grow it in hard water... The GH of my water is approx 50 ppm GH at present... I am wondering if this would be the reason my HC stays alive but grows about 1mm per month...

My GH was 12/ 215ppm and for reference KH is 7/ 125ppm
so i dont think you will have a problem with hard water there!

try placing your DC at the substrate level in varying spots and see what the CO2 level is down there.
