My guppys gravid spot is red

well, i've had that happen many times, and from my experience, it means nothing
bad

right lets clear this up,

a pink gravid means that the guppy has given birth and is ready to get preggo again, basically a way to show males to come near her (if they need and help)

a red gravid means that they gave birth a time ago and is now pregnant before the gravid turns black

black gravid means the guppy is up the duff and fry are soon to come

I have females who have had over 3 litters and i always see the gravid spot return to flesh colour but no worries, when she's fertile again that spot fills up dark with babies.
