I bought a pregnant guppy a few days ago and I had a hard time figuring out when it was due.
Well, I learned today.
When my girlfriend came over we turned out the lights in my room, including the fish tank. When I turned them back on again the female guppy no longer had her black spot.
I'm wondering if the fish in the tank could find the fry in the dark and eat them. What do fry tend to do once their born, do they just swim around waiting to be eaten or do they go off and hide in the gravel and in plants and stuff?
I'm wondering if I'm going to be seeing fry periodically in my tank, or are the chances good that they're already all gone considering they're in a 5-gallon tank with danios and corys.
Thanks
