My Guppies Tail

one of my male guppies tails has a cut in it and i was wondering would i have to treat it?? its like a knife cut down the middle of it as all the tail is still there and definately wasnt nibbled as its mor a cut than a nibble... would i have to isolate him as im treating him??

if its able to swim ok, can keep balance and feed OK, just add some melafix to the tank, it will heal itself in time. If it starts to get picked on, then you will need to isolate while it heals. Should be fine in a few weeks though. Just keep an eye on it.

iv saw fin rot before so i dont think its that but i could be wrong i really hope its not

i also hope its not fin rot because i use to have it and didnt know how to cure it. It killed my flame gourami.
