My Gourami Spits!

Just wanted to let you all know I have a freaky little fish... my male dwarf gourami (his name is Pudge, from Lilo and Stitch... my son's idea!) spits water from the surface whenever he gets really hungry. Usually once a week I pretty much don't feed my fish at all, and the next morning he'll start spitting as soon as he sees me! It's so funny... I just had to share!
Some fish are so cool! Oh, and he builds massive bubblenests all day too!

Aw, thats really cute... I had a dwarf gourami that did the same - it's their rubbish insect-catching instincts coming out, apparantly.

haha. my danios, when hungry, will just attack my fingers.

If i splash my fingers continously on the surface, they come attack them, nip at them, and ram tehmselves playfully into them. It's fun!

i want ever told that i couldng just have male gourami's so ted (one of the males) beat up the other, Yoda, the other day. bless him he got stuck in rock that i had in the tank at the time. he was totally stuck. he had lots of problems after that but he's back now and ruling to tank, even more now iv got them some lady friens to play with!!!

before i moved out, my shoal of archer fish used to do that in the summer! we had like 14 and we used to get crane flies from outside and hold them about 30cm from the water and the shot them lol its well fun!
