One Day I Woke Up And My Goldfish Had White Slime Above Its Nose. I Poured A Bit Of Medicine In Its Bowl Daily,Then I Realised It Had Gone. But Today I Woke Up To Find Black Markings Exactly Where The Slime Was! :S Is This Another Disease Or Is It Normal?

What type of goldifsh is it, plus they need tanks slime can be due to poor water quality, parasites, plus bacteria infections, but with the black marks sounds like ammonia burns that are now healing, do you have water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Im Not Sure, Just A Normal, Small Goldfish. Its Only About A 5 Litre Tank So I Dont Bother Checking Nitrates And PH Etc. I Change Water Every 4-5 Days, And I Cant See Why He Got Infected

Right goldifsh are big waste producers and should never be put in a one gal bowl, the fish need a 20gallon tank, plus excellent filter, i would take the fish back to the lfs, as it won't last long in that bowl, ammonia poisoning, plus the fish needs room to swim, as it living in a shoe box.
