Well I have the elite style 95, and have the filter that came with it. The first day one of them swam behind it and got stuck so i moved the filter and it swam off, i thought it would of learnt its lesson!

I just got in from my nans and noticed one of the GBR's at the top of the filter, and saw one trapped behind the filter. So I had to quickly grab the filter off the suckers and let it swim away. I have turned the lights of to let it relax.

I don't know how I can prevent this happening, there is about half an inch or a little less between the filter and the glass because of the suckers.
I dont want them to keep getting trapped, and they wont learn there lesson.

Any ideas on how to avoid this?

Perhaps give them more places to hide?

There are tons of places to hide mark, a big ton of oceon rock. If I put some new filter sponge behind the back just to secure it, would it affect the water readings? Or would it be ok?

no it wouldn't affect anything, might even act as a little biological filter lol ;D

Just done it, it was a complete success. Hopefully he wont venture down there again, and if he does he wont get trapped. He was swimming kind of half hearted, but properly just because he is stressed. I have left them be now. Hopefully he will recover :good:
