My Fish Tank

Heres a better veiw of the tank........

Bit of advice mate, think some one mentioned it before, i would take that tinfoil barb back if you can, its a shoaling fish so you probbably need about 6 but if you google it and do a bit of research it says they grow upto like 14 inches so its probably not going to be too happy about only having a 30 gallon tank also if you have a common pleco that will also get too big for that tank my friend. I know you probably are quite fond of the fish but they do get very large and in the long run will suffer in a tank of that size.

I know all this, but thanks..... I got it because it would be better than getting a shark and would get along with everything, which it does. Also, I have a 55gallon tank with larger fish in it, when it gets big enough, Ill put it in there....

I agree, the tin foil should go..... and the oscar, don't know what size tank he is in, but he needs atleast at a minimum 75G, but preferably 90G to 125G if your putting other fish, especially other NW cichlids with him.

Sorry to be one of those jerks that sits there and says that can't work but in your profie, it says your an animal lover, so if you want the best for them, either find a friend who has a bigger tank for both, or take them back to your lfs where maybe someone can come along and give them a bigger home. :good:

EDIT: O, and too, your crayfish (if hasn't already) will def harrass you algae eater and snail, most likely end up eating them too. He might also cause some probs with your other fish....at night when they sleep, they will just drift in the tank, and seeing how most crustaceans hunt/'forage' at night, he will most likely cause damage to the other fish, even if he is way too small to eat them. So, i would get rid of the crayfish in that tank if you wish to keep your other fish healthy. You can just put him in a 10G by himself and he will be more than happy:)

The Chinese algae eater will become a menace and will end up as a Chinese fish slime eater. He will get upwards of a foot. I would sell him or give him his own tank.

I think I may have seen the light........
Im thinking on doing a natural tank......
Can someone give me some suggestions. I want to have a natural look to it but have one
or two ornaments in the tank. Depending on how I get paid, I may be able to hook this crapy tank into
something good. Id also like some fish suggestions.
