My fish tank updates...

All ick have cleared, no fish death..but..my pleco is really growing...he has already grown 1 inch in 2 months soon i'ma have to give in to the petstore...or a larger tank!

another thing is that i am starting to notice that my (weaker) discus..turns ...BLACK...

usually during 6-8pm....what'a wrong..he's not being bullied...but gets nipped by his pal during feding time...?

Don't know anything about discuses (disci?) but i know that plecos love to grow ^^ I had a little pleco that grew pretty big in a very short amount of time (well, big relative to my 15 gal tank) but ick got him a few days ago -.- I like plecos, but i've never had good luck with them. Hope your's is better ^^ and just get a bigger tank when you can; if not for the pleco then for all the other fish you can put in it! I'm still trying to find a bigger tank that isn't an ungodly expensive amount. ^^

Is that around when the lights go out? Maybe it's submissive behavior from when the fish all come together to feed, and the big discus starts to bullying him

i feed my fish at 11pm everyday, the time the lights are on is from...6pm to 12:25am

so i'm going to fed them in 30 minutes...usually after feeding..he turns normal again..

i am really starting to worry now....he was black from 6 to now!...

Maybe it has to do with when the light comes on, try turning it on earlier or later to see if the light is the problem
