My Fish R Dieing And The Tank Is Gettin Dirty Like 3 Or 4 Days After I

hi i need help my tank is gettin cleaned out and sorted out at the rite times but its gettin dirty really quick but all the guppies and small fish are dieing off rite quick but the ph and everything else in the water is fine but im not sure wats wrong with it plz can anyone help me

When did you get the tank and what "changes" have you been doing?

Firstly did you cycle the tank? What size is the tank? Fish? Water stats if you have a test kit?

Yeah, we need some more information. This sounds like 'new tank syndrome' - try reading the pinned topics in New To The Hobby.

How big is the tank, what's in it, and how long has it been set up? Did you cycle it before you added fish (do you understand what the nitrogen cycle is?)

had the tank up and running for 6 month now
yes i cycled the tank before i put fish in it and everything was fine up until now
so it is that ive just started and they are dieing striaght off
my water changes that i take half out and put clean bk in agen and r done every 2 to 3 week
test strips i do come out that everything is fine in the water ie nitrate, nitrite and ph so i dont understnd whats happening.

How big is the tank and exactly what fish are in it?

What water conditioner are you using?

Exact water readings would be most useful, especially if you have a reading for ammonia.

Have you recently added anything to the tank (new fish/plants) or has there been heavy rain in your area? (if yes are you using well or bore water?)

What do the fish do before they die?


I'm really sorry to bombard you with so many questions and I know it doesn't seem very helpful, but throwing conditions around is unlikely to do any better... we need a diagnosis, as there are a lot of things that can cause sudden and unexplained fish kills.
