Hello everyone. My fish just had babies. And I don't know what to do. She is in a small container made to hold her while she has her babies. The babies are separated on the bottom of the container. How do you feed the babies? What do they need to survive? Do they need extra oxygen? Will the mother eat them if she can get to them? How long do they have to stay in this container? Help!!! .___lBabies fall trhough to bottom?

Next question... What kind of fish?

Take the mama out now and remove the seperator.

How many babies are there?

I had 1 platy fry in there for about a month and a half. They pretty much need to stay in there until they are big enough so they can't fit in your biggest fish' mouth.

But it's really up to you.

If you have ton of fry, you may want to set up a seperate tank for them.

As for feeding them... either crush up flake food very fine or buy powdered food for them.

Hope that helps
