My Fish Is Still Blind!

The problems I am having with my blind black moor are still there! (See previous my fish is blind thread)
I have been doing 25% water change twice a day, finished my protozan treatment, added 0.1% salt.
I have been unable to get new filter as could not get ot fish shop as car broke down, and in fixing the car breakage I barely have enough money to eat till I get paid at the end of the month never mind buy a new filter.
ammonia is down to just under 0.25ppm, nitrites 0.5ppm, nitrates about 10 ppm.
So tank is getting there cycling wise.
Does anyone have any suggestions, else I shall resort to desperate filter buying measures. (grovelling, stealing etc etc.)

Sadly she won't get any better till the tank has cycled as the cycle will be stressing her out, so the stress won't be helping her get better, just carry on with smaller water change and salt , there is nothing else to be done, sorry.Except for the new filter.

Oh dear, it just pains me to see her with her eyes like that.

Sadly you might have to be prepared to lose her, been there with my sisters goldfish and they just get weak due to the cycle as it takes it toll on them, there immune system shuts down causing desease, sorry, does she look weak.

You might want to think about some "melafix" It doesn't do much besides make the fish feel better but it sounds like that is what she needs. I agree with what the other people have said but melafix might be a good addition.

Might help clear her up melafix is good for promoting healing from soars and wounds etc..

I may not eat for 5 days but I now ahve both a fluval 2 and a bottle of melafix.
Can you use melafix at teh same time as protozin for ick? It says it is all natural so I presume so but just want to check.

Best to use salt with ick, as parasites can't stand salt, just save the melafix for now, it will be there if you need it, good you got the fluval, good luck keep us all up dated.

Unfortunately she died before I got the filter home. Am v upset, she was secretly my favourite.
