Hi Jo, you are probably better off sticking to one of the nutrient balanced and vitamin enriched pellet or flake foods as its staple diet, with the algae pellets as a treat. Usually the algae pellets are spirulina, which is usually found in the balanced foods anyway.

If it'll take the nori then let it. What pellet food are you feeding it, just out of interest?

Hi,

it is called sera marine granules and it says on the side 'a high quality staple diet for all marine fish. Selected blend of fish ,krill and mussel meal'.

What is nori exactly??

Nori is a type of seaweed that is dried and fed to hebivores like tangs etc.

Does the pellet food contain garlic? If not then I would suggest trying something like Ocean Nutrician pellet food. Fish seem to enjoy the taste very much.
