I ordered some food, on recommendation from the lady I got my L200, L182 and L128s from, from a company called Blue Line in Italy, last week. I've been really excited about getting it and it's just arrived in time for feeding time and every single fish I own has completely gone mad for it!

I got some Basic Grade 122 (suitable for bottom feeders), some Artemia Grains 58 (for fry and youngsters) and some spirulina tabs (60% spirulina!!) and after running around watching everyone eat, I'm very happy now :P

Does anyone else go to great lengths for their fish food?
I had to pay into an Italian bank for this (bit scary but I figured out the form) and it wasn't cheap stuff but definitely worth it as I've seen Marina's fish - and they're so healthy (obv. the tanks are part of that but the food is important too).

I'm just really chuffed :D
I've spent ages trying to find a good quality food that meets the nutritional requirements of my fish, is palatable to them, doesn't break down and wreak havoc with water quality (as my plecs sometimes take their time when feeding) and doesn't involve me making fresh food all the time - this is the answer I think.

I feel like a right saddo but hope there's someone on TFF who can understand my excitement lol!

Does this company have a website at all? Im also looking for a good all round food that meets these requirements. B-)

The company director is very helpful if you have any questions and can recommend which feed is best for the species you keep.
They shipped this out to me really quickly and the food itself is of the highest quality (much better than the brands you can get in Britain).

Look very promising, what are the prices like though? Im going to have to wait till next month i think for this im already spending enough money on fishy things this month.

I think I paid about 40 euros for 2.5kg of the Basic Grade, 28 for 400g of the Artemia Grains and 58 or something for the spirulina tabs 500g - all in all it came to about 160 odd euros including shipping for my order.

I bought in bulk - bear in mind that food will probably feed my fish for 6 months to a year (and I have A LOT of fish - 3 big plecs, more bristlies than I could begin to count, new clutches of babies born all the time, lots of guppies, lots of clown loach - up to 7 inches - not littlies, 6 geo cichlids and other various community fish) - well you'll see how many when you come tomorrow evening

Lol yea i dont know what im looking forward to the most getting my new fish home or seeing all yours :hey:

I remembered as well that i wont be working tomorrow night as its a bank holiday on friday, doh!

Were there any changes btw to the pricing on my order?
