My fish arrived this morning. Everybody is in their appropriate tanks and quite happy. It never ceases to amaze me how well cichlids bounce back from stress. 10 minutes after they were set free in the 75gal they were picking at the algae on the substrate, and a couple of hours later I chucked in some pellets, talk about a feeding frenzy. They are currently still working on their pecking order. The big male lab I already had is trying to keep his two females (that moved w/him from the 29gal) together and away from the other fish. The aceis are chasing each other all over the tank. The callainos are bullying everyone else, the new labs think they are aceis, and the lone demasoni is hanging w/the juvie lab as they are about the same size. For pics click on the link.
