My fish are dying and they all look the same as well, any suggestions what is causing this??

They all have a swollen belly and its reddish in colour?? I regularly do a 20% water change and test the water for harmful contents, I think the issue may lie with a rubbish heater as it never seems to keep the temp. constant, I think its to cold and shocks the fish, the temp. starts of about 21.4 and creeps up to 30 when the lighting is on. Can anyone recommend a good heater? I have a juwel 125 currently.

So my two questions are:

1. Why are my fish dying with similar symptons? Most casualties so far have been my Dainos.
2. Can anyone recommend a good heater?

Many thanks.

To help you more we need to know a lot more than you have told us.
what exactly are the water stats?
what are all the symptoms?
do you notice anything else that is not normal behaviour?
are they eating?
are they active?

Same as wolf need some more info, if you are having big swings in tempreture yes they can die to shock and stress, you say the bellies are swollen, can they maintain there balance in the water, do scales stick out like a pinecone, what do you feed the fish, also what does it look like when they go to the toilet, and finally can you describe the red on tummy abit more, do you mean red patches, or blood beneath the skin.

These heaters are good.
