My Fish Are Dieing

I feel certain the reason the fish weren't active was the ammonia and nitrite. Continue to do water changes (a couple times a day if needed) to keep the levels as close to zero as possible.

I've never heard of 'safe start' crystals; you may be better off with a liquid dechlorinator like Tetra 'Aquasafe'. Unfortunately, you'll have a lot of water changes to do to ease their suffering; ammonia can cause long-term damage.

I want to my local store and the guy advised me to buy Seachem Stability and a bottle of Seachem Prime. Im going to add them regulary with my daily water changes, hopefully the fish can still recover.

Personally, I wouldn't add any of the chemicals mentioned. (Or any others for that matter) Just continue with regular water changes (twice a day in smaller volumes would be best), and get some sort of caves or structure for them for them. A couple small flower pots would be a simple temporary solution. It should help them feel less stressed and also will help with the territorial issues you are going to have when they begin to settle in. Start planning to rehome them now, you can't keep those fish together successfully for long in that size tank. Good luck! :)

IMHO Stability is just a waste of money, however Prime is an excellent water conditioner, good luck. :good:

Do I use the Prime as an additional additive to my whole tank? Or use it as my water conditioner and add it in my new bucket of water when im doing water changes?
