I have the fish in my sig. I notice they always seem to swim together and interact like swimming with each other. I thought they would kinda group with there own kind rather then mix all up.

And when I feed it seems like the rams are too shy to come to the top and everything else eats befor they get a chance.

I would like to add a few more fish, and dont know what to add though, I was thinking something that will scavange excess food off the bottom (do shrimp do this?) I have lots of plants so I am worried that food wil get trapped and missed in cleanings.
I was also looking at hatchets, but worried about the current from my filter at the surface.

Any help and sugestions would be great, thanks.

Personally, I don't think hatchets would do/ look too good in a tall tank.

Rams are, as I have read and have not yet seen in my newly bought rams, shy fish unless they have dither fish, and even then, somewhat reclusive. You might want to try feeding them frozen/ live food with a turkey baster if they don't get scared off by it.

There aren't very many critters who'd be considered "scavengers" and even they have to be fed special foods. Corydoras are always wonderful additions to community tanks, and though they will clean up food that sinks to the bottom of the tank, you have to feed them special pellets/wafers. I've never had much luck with ghost shrimp, but they did eat scraps of food found on the tank bottom. :dunno:
