Hello guys i'm a new fish hobbyist and was wanting some general advice from experts.
I have a aquastart 320 tank which is 28 liter capacity I have had the tank for coming up 3 weeks and I have the following fish
4 Neon tetras
2 Mollies
I being told by my local store not to start a water change till I had the tank for 3 weeks I did a test for PH and nitrites with testing strips and everything is ok should i do the water change soon.
I also wanted advice if I could add more fish or not cause i was fancying a fighting fish but i heard they kill little fish so left that out but wasn't sure if i could put more fish in or not.
I also have a plant in if thats any help as i was told having a plant in helps the fish as well.
I thank anyone in advance for any advice they can give me

Its possible that you could fit a betta in there (fighting fish) but your fist purchase should be an API freshwater master kit , testing kit so you can test your own water. You need to read up on filter cycling in the beginners section, linked in my signature. gluck :)

Thanks i do have testing strips but i take it i'm better off getting a professional testing kit i'm reading the cycling guidelines now which are useful reading thanks

If you have yet to get a decent kit, buy once and get salifert test kits not API. The difference is night and day, you hear API users saying "i have never a problem" they never used salifert :good:
