Hey,

This tank is plastic- a heater will melt it. But you could put other fish like minnows/dannios/coldwater platys/paradise fish.
Most pet shops sell these, including pets at home (I recognise the tank from their stores) .

hi there,

frankies suggestions are correct but i would avoid the danios. although they are small fish, they need a lot of swimming room...much more than your tank provides. good luck with your choices and happy hunting!!

Yeah sorry i totally missed the fact that the tank is plastic. I also carnt find anythink about the fish you suggested. The only thing i can find are these white cloud mountain minnows. Are these tropical or coldwater.

Ive evan tryed youtube for a look at them an that just show's people useing them as bait or to feed other animal

W.C.Minnows can go in both tropical and coldwater. For that size tank you could fit 5 full grown ones in, they are lovely fish- I've kept them myself and my grandad breeds them. I would suggest adding plants to your tank however as they would aid the water quality and also create a healthy and natural enviroment for the fish.

You don't have to just stick to fish- you could also have shrimp and/or Apple snails (these are usually yellow and grow to the size of a £2 coin).

One of my tanks is a similar size- I'll try and send you a pic so you can see how I've planted it :)

Thanks for you help.

Do pets at home sell W.C.Minnow? Im also going to get some plants i was goin to get java fern.

Yes :) they also sell java fern (it's 3 for £10) I'd say get your plants in first then get your fish- I can't post a pic of my tank as my camera has stopped working :(
