Hello everyone, I have a 90 Gallon bowfront tank - My first tank! Now after encountering various issues like White spot and a massive algae 'infestation' (which my tank is still recovering from) I have developed my tank into this:

Please excuse the camera blur - taken on my phone.

At the moment, these fish are small but I know they will grow so I am investing in a larger, 150 Gallon tank soon to move these fish into.

I currently have:

10x Tiger Barbs,
2x Moonlight Gouramis,
2x Sword Tails,
1x Platie (The other 4 died T_T)
2x Silver Sharks,
3x Clown Loach,
1x Decorated Catfish,
1x Common Pleco

Nice looking tank but im just going to say the bala sharks need a school of 6-8 and a tank 8-10 ft long when they are fully grown.

The common pleco can get near 2ft so i would recomend rehoming him soon because they are truley beasts.

If you could i rehome those fish and up the clown fish school to 6 and maybe up the tiger barb school to (not needed but it would look nice)

Don't worry - as I have finally decided I am going to be upgrading tanks to a 180 Gallon soon!

I would still recommend rehoming the balas and common, i had a 15" common in my 180 with little decor and it still had trouble getting around the tank.

Balas get 16" and dart alot so i would still recommend  300+ gallon tank for them. :D

Ok thank you very much for the advice! ^_^

If I saved up then, the balas would be in there for another 6-8 months (They're still small so they should be ok for that amount of time right???) then I could get a 8ft 230 gallon tank - Would that be alright?

hey i think your tank looks cool, can only improve with time, i hope mines as good after 6 months

Im not sure on the growth rates of balas so i cant really answer that sorry, what would the other two dimensions of the tank be?
