My First Platy

Today I brought home a female hi fin platy (Rosie)... very cute and pudgy. Her body is about 1 inch long so I am guessing she isn't much more than a baby. She is an instant sensation with my 4 female guppies who have taken her in as one of the pack. Rosie is obviously very comfortable and doing well.

I have feed my tank (4 female guppies, 16 neons and 1 platy)... I've noticed that Rosie only looks for food at the top... will she get used to things and search for food that falls or is she a top feeder? Just want to make sure I watch out for her and she is getting enough to eat.

Of course any fish can be different but my platys eat from the top then after searching on top with no more food present for a few minutes they then go down to the gravel and eat up any left overs if there are. Then they spend the rest of their entire day looking in plant and gravel crevases for yummy niblets. They are always looking for food and will look everywhere for it. But dont over feed !
