I like the clay pot in the sand and the apple snails. I also like that plant although I have a feeling that it isnt aquatic?? If it is fake or aquatic then I apologize but if not I would take it out. Nice looking tank :good:

Nice tank :good: what size? Also, it's kind of unusal looking... but it makes it look unique, I really like it ^_^

Yeah I think a black background would really bring out the tank.
Your tank is unusual, but I really like it. It's very unique looking and that's what makes it so awesome. :good:

Not sure why everybody's saying it's unusual. I just think you did a great job. And who gives a rat's butt whether or not that *silk* plant is meant to be aquatic. I wish I had one for my own tank! There are no rights or wrongs when doing your decor. You do whatever you like and whatever is safe for the fish and provides them hidey holes, etc. :good:

I agree that a backing would really make your scenery pop!

Edited to add *silk*..... please don't add *live* nonaquatic plants to your tank..... :good:

cheers all for your advice..... i do agree with you all that it does need a background
i like the way i set it up because i have seen alot of pictures on here and i wanted it to be different from the others..... :good:
once i buy a background i will post a pic

Its unusual to me just for the fact that I havnt seen a tank set up this way before..But it looks really good..!! :good:

I was just wondering..... in the States, "unusual" has more of a negative connotation, kind of meaning that something is off or strange. When you use the word unusual, does it mean different, more than anything else? Not often I ask a cultural-type question, but I guess this falls under that. I'm still trying to understand some of the lingo I see here, since it seems I'm in the minority of members from "across the pond". ;)

Rayza, what type of plant is that? Looks like silk. I love it and would love to get something like that for my betta sorority. It must flow beautifully. :good:

yeah i think it is silk...i cant remember
i see they had it in a few of the tanks at my local fish shop and asked the guy and they were actully plants for reptiles!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but i thought it looked cool in the tank so i brought 1

any idea where i can buy a black background online???
