My first Guppy Fry :)

Today my Guppy had her first fry!! I breed Bettas, so Guppies aren't exactly hard to breed, but I still thought it was awesome seeing some of the babies being born (I saw 5 of them). It was so awesome! She ended up having more than 50 going with a rough count after she was done. The timing was perfect as I had a very small Bettas spawn 2 weeks ago (about 16 fry) so I've combined the 2 batches, and the Betta fry are exactly the same size as the newly born Guppies, Lol. Being put in with the Guppy fry will help my small spawn of Bettas eat more due to the higher compitition for food, so I'm happy Mom is now in a small tank recouperating before going back in her regular tank with Dad in a couple of days.

yea, the scary thing is the small betta spawn came from a pair of my babies from my first ever spawn...does that make me a great grandma? Lol
