I never thought that my first attempt would be successful. But the babies (15-20 depending on count)are now four weeks old and growing faster everyday. Here are a few pics of the bubbas. I am so proud. Rosie their mother passed a few days after they were born. So i'm holding my breath that i get a dead ringer. Being as it's my first attempt i am not sure how long they will survive. Any pointers that you could offer to keep them healthy and happy would be much appreciated. They are my pride and joy

I will add more as they get older :D I can't wait till they start forming colours and fins

Just a couple more shots of the fry. There are a select few that are bigger and more defined then the rest. They appear to be starting to show color. And i am happy to say that they are coloring like their mummy :) She may just live on after all. They are definitely growing up fast. :hyper:

Great news!

Congratulations and good luck!

Oh, my! In your first attempt at mating Bettas you were successful!
Congrats for your good job. :good:
I'm sorry about their mummy, but I'm sure one of them will be just like her.
;)

Sorry to hear about Rosie :(
Hopefully you'll get some fry just like their bootiful parents!
