HI All,

The pic below is my first attempt at a planted tank.

DSC02984.jpg

The plants I have put in are as follows

Java Fern, which is attached to the wood using Black Cotton.
Elodea Densa,
Large Bacopa,
Ech Tenellus,
Moss Balls, Cause I was fascinated by them. :/
Red Myrophyllum,
Corkscrew Vallis,
Indian Fern, I think.

Any suggestions to the make the tank look alot better, or moving the position of some of the plants would be more than appreciated. I have been told by a friend that I shouldnt need CO2 for this range of plants, is he correct. I have read some info about the plants and the articles seemed to suggest that I dont need it.

The water looks a little cloudy because I took the Pic straight after eveything was put into the tank. Also I need to do a water change because I did have three pieces of wood in the tank but the newest piece, which I have now removed, was still leaching Tannins out and made the tank look horrible.

Look forward to any replies,
Rich
