My Female Guppy

my female guppy gave birth to 42 fry yesterday..however she was still quite plump so i remvoed the babies from the tank and put them in a breeding net. this morning i woke up and checked the tank and the female was dead....

can anyone help me with this situation

might of been due to stress of giving birth or a baby got stuck
