Hello, I'm new to the fish world  Well anyways...

I have a 30 gallon tank with 2 x 2inch Angelfishies (1 marble, 1 gold), and 2 dwarf gouramis (1 male, 1 female)...
all peaceful together apart from the female gourami who seriously doesn't like the gold angel! Attacks my Angie
whenever within a 2 inch radius.

Any clues? Anything would be greatly appreciated :good:

Also, after the female gourami attacks Angie the male gourami then tends to attack her :)
Thought I should mention that :D

We might need another female :/
Apparently if the females not interested in the male he'll attack her to death
But they get on ok atm don't they?

Thats kind of a mystery to me, I've heard of Angels attacking gouramis but rarely the other way around?

What species of Gourami was it? Are you sure its the female?

Problem is that they are both mid - top level fish, neither fish is really regarded as really aggressive fish, so I'm not really sure, if I were you I would take the trouble fish back and maybe purchase two females for the male, that way the standards are met.

Could just have a aggressive fish with a baaaaaad personaility?
