Very nice discus you have there, nice colours! One point though, the female looks to young to breed, and when discus breed at a young age their energy doesn't go into growth but breeding, which can result in stunting.
She is at least 5 years old but I think she was perhaps stunted when I bought her. Still she is a lovely shape and colour
and very healthy so I am not too concerned about her size.
No problem then I take it all the fry are healthy?
2 pairs of my discus have formed, but as they are stunted I do not want to breed them as apparently they could produce deformed discus.
Good luck!
lovely looking discus pair, should produce some good looking babies.
My female is also smaller than my male i think she started breeding too young and it slowed her growth down but it is difficult to stop a randy pair in love lol. It dosent affect them as parents in any way though except a smaller female will produce less eggs but when they can lay up to 300 eggs that can be a relief.
