My discus just died

I got some new plants today in my discus tank and just now, one of my discus died. No symptoms, and the body was clean including the fins. Could there have been something on the plants that would've killed him? My other discus looks physically normal too right now, but he's freaked out. Thanks for any help.

yes.. some lfs add some algae remover to some plant before selling them..

I dont think it will kill the discus but new plants, hands in the tank, might stess them a bit making them less resistant to the anti-algae.
