My Dead Platy From Last Week

May not have died in vain. Still don't know what happened to her. But yesterday spotted one single fry swimming around my submarine in the tank. Can only think it has come from her as none of the others are pregnant. Poor little thing is all alone but seems to be doing fine. Not got a chance of catching him to make sure he is fine as he is so small he can swim in the gravel!!

3 babies so far. Getting to decent size. Can actually see them from distance rather than having to search hard to see them. Seem to be doing well

I suggest crushing some food further and almost creating a mini protien cloud of food. you will know what i mean when you see it lol

Something similar happened to me, my favourite fish in the tank, a balloon molly, was dead one morning when I came otu to feed them. But then I noticed a bunch of fry hiding in the plants. I managed to rescue about 10 of them and they all look just like their mom.

all 3 eat when i feed the others. Sat there and watched to make sure. Nippy little buggers as well. Getting braver too, swimming in the open most of the time now
