My Daughters Female Guppy

my 2 year old has a fanastic array of fish from her sunburst gourmi and angel fish to her little fancy guppies she feed them everyday and watch for anything weird she had two male sword fish and she is the one who notice the two male fighting as she called it so we puchased another swordfish but female this time and also purchased her 2 fancy guppies


anyway the guy we purchased they from informed us 2 days later that he had a female in is female tank deliver a batch of fry and said that he found a male hiding in the boat . he also informed me that our guppy is most lkely pregnant and that she should be due any time now
now she has the very very dark gravid and her belly is very swollen how long could it be til deliver my daughter is very excited about the up coming arrival

and i have a breeding net is it safe to put her in it now

without a good time of experience on fish and traps then dont put her in the trap just add loads of plants to help the fry hide when they are born your daughter will be delighted even if one is caught when you see it. good luck

i must agree with modaz. Heavily planted would be better. even if you catch just one or two survivers its better than none because the mother died of stress due to teh breeder net or box.
