I was just looking in my 75g community tank and noticed one of my danios has a clear bubble protuding from it's side. At first I thought it was an air bubble but I can see that the base of the bubble is red or perhaps a hole - like if the bubble burst, there would be a hole in the fish. The bubble is maybe 3mm in diameter. Other than that, the fish appears fine. Does anybody know what it is and if it's treatable? I don't have a hospital tank at the moment casue it's being used for Endler fry.

Hmm, I never heard of that disease before. it sure looks like an air bubble but the description of the disease says it's from forcing oxygen into the water. I don't know how that could be because I just have an aquaclear filter and nothing else is being done - no air stones or anything. The tanks been in the same configuration for over a year. I'll try doing a big water change and I'll keep an eye on the fish. The link doesn't say how to treat the fish. Perhaps it will just go away.
