i already have done a water change
i have a 2ft tank
with 9 neon tetras
5 black noeon tertas
2 silver sharks
3 clown loaches
and 4 of these other fish (cant rember)

i dont have a test kit so i cant relly post my results

When my fish were going crazy they all ended up dying even when I changed the water on them like 3 times to try to keep some alive. I never really knew why. I just figured it was the PH balancer since it was the last thing that I put in there. I had left it open before and I guess it went bad. I hope yours will be ok. Good luck.

Is your tank a 10 gallon tank?
Are any of your other fish going nuts?
here are the dimensions of my tank

L = 61cm
W= 26cm
H = 31cm

and no only my 1 clown loach is going crazy
all my other fish are fine

I'm only a relative beginner so take what I say with a pinch of salt, however, our clown loach displayed similar behaviour when it's mate died. We bought another one for him to play with and he's been fine since.

He also used to float on his side looking depressed.

Is your tank a 30 gal those silver shark and clown loaches need at 90 gal tank, do a water change as the filter isn't coping with all them fishj, get water tested.

Clown loaches often lay on their sides to sleep; they look like they are playing dead. Occasionally, one of my loaches will spend some time cruising as fast as he can up and down the height of the tank. Sometimes a few join in, I always just assumed that they were having a good time. My water quality is fine, so that isn't the case here. I do agree though that they need to be in groups of 3 or more. I had bought just one at first because that was all the lfs had at the time, and I was going back when their next batch came. What a difference in behavior!

If you plan on keeping your clowns the full extent of their lives, you must upgrade! Not nec. right now, but within a year. My 55 gallon (4foot) tank will be too small for the 3 I have, but I will be upgrading when the time comes. Meanwhile, I stay understocked.
