Lol, how ironic that you should give those options. I had to null vote cause I love all 3 of those species and couldn't decide. Not much help, I know. I have a friend who has those 3 species as well as rusties and yellowtail aceis. It's an amazing tank (also happens to be 120 gallons).

Though I like them all, the yellow/blue combination would look very nice. Have you considered p. acei with labs? The subtle purple/blue/yellow colors mix very, very nicely.

do you think that these guys have a stronger and bolder color than the saulosi's ?
also i saw something about "kenyi cichlid " do the females have a strong blue color to make a mix of 1/5 of them and some yellow labs ! ?

Kennyi are too agressive for what you seem to be planning you'd also want a tank over 55 gallons

just a question, can you mix frontosa with rams ? or what other little guys are cute that mix with them, anything pure yellow ? i saw someone with some frontosa and yellow labs ! is that really possible ? i would be set there

I think your tank is too small for frontosa as well, as long as labs are too big to get eaten they will be fine but I don't know if they are

If you want another blue/yellow option maybe- electric blue and electric yellow

Sciaenochromis fryeri
and
labidochromis caeruleus

not saying it's the best option just a option

Frontosa get huge and eat small fish!

If you see a fish you like, do a quick search on google, it's amazing the basic information you'll find.

The Saulosi tank may only be one species, but they're full of character and great fish to own. On the other hand, that Lab/Socolofi mix would make a beautiful tank as well.

Freshcichlid, instead of starting from scratch with mixes that won't work, why not decide between the two very nice ideas you polled about and run with it. Both would make for very nice setups.
