Iheading home for a couple weeks this christmas and im already worried about the fish. im still noob, and i was wondering what i could do to get the fish fed for that time. i have no one that can come over to do it for me.

you can buy a type of fish food that lasts about a week a flake, give them a couple of them.
but it depends on type of fish in tank as to what you get.
could you post a fish tank contents thingy. plz.

Your fish will be fine if not fed for 2 weeks, if your really worried get an automatic feeder. Don't buy those feeding blocks as they contain loads of rubbish including ash and they pollute the water.

Do your usual water change a couple of days before you go and feed as usual, If you haven't already got an automatic timer for the light get one as you don't want to leave the light on as it will cause algae to take over.

Do you have real plants in the tank as the fish could nibble them and pic food off them.

think your best bet is an autimatic fish feeder. buy one now and use it till you go away then you will know if it is working correctly or not
