Quite a few of them scattered once they saw me trying to take a pic of them but a fair amount remained. I have 7 dracaena sanderiana and they are all crawling with cherries.

Isnt draceaena sanderiana lucky bamboo?

Indeed it is lucky bamboo and indeed it is not a true aquatic plant however It is a plant which can grow emersed but I am unsure whether the submerged leaves will eventually rot and die. All except one extend approx 2+ inches above the water line except for 1 which is 1" below the water line which I am going to use to compare growth rates.
