my bristle nose is dead

a'right folks, not been on the board for a while. a couple of weeks ago my bristle nosepleco died....and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with him. he seemed very healthy...it happened to my mate as well. the pleco was about 5/6inches in size...does anyone know why he died?

Did he have a swollen tummy, or was his tummy sucked in abit.
