Hiya, I don't mind you asking at all.

They were £50 for both of them, and the male is 10" long and the female 3" smaller. They will be perfectly safe from my eel, but thanks for the concern.

Normally thses fish have to be inported but I bought them from a local keeper, which is why I got them reasonably cheap.

Thee is also a Black veriaty which Are equally if not more so beautiful, and a lot more expensive.

Thanks for your comments.

They are some of the most non agressive cichlids that you can get (in my opinion). But I don't think that they are for everyone as they grow MASSIVE, as you can see by my pictures. They are partially blind so you can keep them with fish quite a bit smaller than them as long as the smaller fish can get out of the way at feeding time!
