I noticed today that my female Kribensis, who was VERY round and plump yesterday is now very flat. She was a dark cherry red yesterday, and is still quite a dark colour today, and is contorting and curving herself a lot, and staying hidden more then usual. Does it sound as if she may have eggs? This is my first Kribensis pair.

Kribs lay eggs in caves or under rock ledges, so if on or both of them are hiding more than usual, or ducking in and out of a certain hiding place, it might be likely you have egss. Sometimes if you shine a torch under the place they are hiding you can see eggs stuck to the top of the rock ledge or where ever they laid them.
They look after the eggs and babies so one day you might be suprised to see the parents out and about leading the babies around once they are free swimming :)

Will an Albino Krib mate with a standard? Im thinking about getting another female and this lfs has really cute, young albinos.

Im nearly sure that someone posted a while ago that a male standard krib will mate with a female albino krib but not vice versa--Im sure someone will correct me if Im wrong :/
