Back to the origional subject anyway i wouldnt say to put anything else in your tank due to the fact of it being a trigon 350 so its one of them odd shaped corner tanks so you lose alot of space because of that so for this reason i wouldnt suggest putting anything else in there.

I have had Con's which have been great also had con's which were little buggers too

I was mainly ranting at ferris, while trying to inform generally that they "can" be not as much much trouble as there rep say's. And yes I do know the flip side of the coin, I've had an angel well named as "serial killer". He killed 2 other angels the same size (about 2.5cm) within a week of buying them, an adult angel when he was a little over 3.5 cm, and about 7-8 other fish (cant remember what, cant be bothered searching my old posts, at least 1/2 of these where bigger than him), what I well learned from this is angels are very much cichlids even though they are often not marketed or talked about as such or act as such, they can still act out of the "norm" and this can and does apply to ALL fish.

Rant accepted Katchan and i agree, individual fish temperament can and does vary. I would only add that i find it better to give advice in general terms, i.e more common behaviour than exceptions to the rule. Perhaps i should have pointed out that it is possible to keep Cons in this type of setup, albeit risky, my original post does sound a bit absolute!

Back to the issue at hand, i think the stocking level issue probably renders this a moot point and adding any more fish is probably not a good idea IMO.

I'm sorry Miss W, I really didn't mean to offend. If it makes any difference, it sounds like you've got lovely fish and I'm very envious.

As for a bottom feeder, that's doable, but steer clear of common plecs and gibbies as they are too large growing and make about as much waste as an oscar, so it would depend on how cracking your filtration is.

I'm a bit of a plec fan so I'm probably not the best for advising you on your dilemma as I have a very biased view

none taken kathy, I said I wasn't after a fight, just wanted to make it clear I had already considered what you were saying. :)

I know I do like my plecs too so am contemplating one of some sort, I've a royal I might put in when he gets a bit bigger or my fella's got an albino that he's concerned is going to be a tank buster so he might go in there, I'm well over filtered so hopefully the mess wouldn't be too bad!

and I'm not even gonna comment on the convict fights!!
