So I was checking on my bichir and I saw it next to the tank and was dry!
So I popped it back into the tank to check it's still alive or not.
Just as I was about to lose hope, it moved!!
Now I moved it into a shallow bowl until it can breath on it's own. How long can a bichir hold it's breath?
Cause now I'm checking on it every minute and afraid it will drown.

If the shallow bowl does not have aeration, it's suffocating.

I thought bichirs breathe air?

Hmm, you're right, I'm wrong.. make sure you do keep it warm though..

I live a few degrees off the equator, and it hasn't rain for a while so I guess its warm out :p
Thanks for the reply! Waiting for gasmask's say on what I should do!

It's at moments like this that I want to go hide under a rock and never come out again >.<

Hi.
What state is it in right now?

Is it moving any life in it?

Remember it will need to take a gasp for air so try keeping it in shallow enough for it to lift it's head for air.
