So at the moment I have two bettas, I've bought material for dividing tanks, but honestly, I'm highly doubtful I will actually divide them LOL, they seem to love having such big tanks. Each one has a filter turned down to it's lowest setting, it tursn the tanks over 3-4 times per hour. One is heated though at the moment the other one isn't, since it's summer the water temp won't drop below 24, and is often much higher but I've ordered a heater and it should arrive any day, I wasn't actually planning on getting another betta, it just sorta happened.

So my algaefied 20g, theirs a baby bristlenose in there at the moment, who thinks he's died and gone to heaven with all that nice green algae, but I think I'm gonna have to remove the hood or something, those lights kill everything else, but are fantastic at growing algae. The betta is a multicoloured veiltail called Ezekiel. Water level is lowered so he can get up to breathe, and so when he leaps up at feeding time he doesn't end up on the floor

Second one is actually planted, plants at the moment are wisteria, java fern, java moss and a peace lilly (yes I know it's not aquatic). This is a work in progress, I plan on slowly adding more and more plants. The betta is a cellophane veiltail, currently no name.

Both tanks are 20g, and I can't believe the difference in personality as compared to when Ezekiel was in a 2g bowl, there so much more happier and there always doing something, don't think i could ever keep a betta in anything smaller now.

Just thought I'd share

Can't add anything to the algaeified tank, it's gonna be bad enough cleaning the sand and glass, until the algae problems under control it's stuck like that, water quality is amazing though in that tank, and I've never seen Ezekiel as healthy and vibrant as he is now he's in a tank stuffed with algae LOL.

hehehe spoiled little betta brats :p For the cellophane betta, may I suggest the name of Snowflake?

Good name choice, but he's already been christened Zadkiel, all my bettas are named after angels, previous betta's have been Samael, Lucifer and Michael LOL.
