What have you fed it in the past? What are the water levels&temp? Any companions? Symptoms, such as swimming in an odd way, breathing funny?

she does have a short weird tail. Um. She doesnt like the light, so when I turn on the light she stays out for a couple of minutes and then hides under a plant. I cant tell if shes swimming iregullarly but it looks regular to me. Heres the vid link:

It's a she?!?

I can't see the video, but she could just be really eggy! Girls do that.

No, I don't think its eggs... What is her water temperature, how often do you do Water changes, Do you have anything to test the amonia and NH with? Do her scales look normal or are some of them sort of sticking out a little? <- I couldn't tell during the vidio, but her face looked really puffy for being a female. I also couldn't see if she had an anal fin or not, but her fins are definately clamped tight, so something is bothering her...

I think its bigger! Maan. I hope shes not going to blow up. I have never seen this before. I changed the water last week. She has stripes going horizontal, i dont see her scales sticking out. I have no NH Amonia tester but I needa get one. Um, the other betta seems to be doing fine. He is just swimming around like normal. Well im not sure if this has anything to do with it, but a few days ago when I was finishing my homework I saw her jumping over the divider to the boys side. But I got her on her side before he attacked her.

I'd do a big water change, first of all. As big as you can without having to remove her from the tank and stress her out more. Keep the water nice and clean.

Maybe she's constipated? It looks like it to me, as far as the bloating goes, but she's not swimming funny, so I don't know... :/

maybe she has eggs ?? ionno that video was blurry i couldnt see anything

Now I can tell that shes swimming funny. I thought she was dead this morning but when I turned on the light she swam. Now shes laying on the bottom of the tank. Its so fat that you can see through her scales! I see a string of poop inside of her. :/

If she is swimming funny, it probably is constipation. Try feeding her a bit of cooked de-shelled frozen pea, and because it's been a while, give her an Epsom salt bath twice a day as well. One tablespoon of Epsom salt per gallon of water for about 20 minutes each time.

no, but to help her surface, you could get her out of the tank and put her in either a shallow container or in a container with a low level of water.

Yeah I put her in a cup thing. Shes not eating the Peas. Will it still work if their in the tank without her eating it?
