need more info. is he eating? is he acting normal? etc. one of mine used to eat snails and it got hold of one and died so if he has had the bulge a long time dont think it would be gravel...

For some reason its starting to get smaller

Probably like our Steve. He tends to get fat after eating too much. It goes down after a day or so. Sometimes sooner.
