Fish Addict
Last night I dreamt that I was at some strange LFS. I was getting ready to buy a few things, and then I spotted some bettas. They had bettas in cups and bowls setting on shelves, and they had bettas inside these small packages that were stapled shut. Some packages had a cardboard note stapled to them that said "Fighting Betta Pair" and they had two packages stapled together with water and one fish in each package. The prices on these were rediculous (30 dollars for the "Fighting Betta Pair," and every betta they had were VTs).
I didn't want to buy a betta, but I gave in and bought one of the "Fighting Pairs." I didn't intend to fight them, I simply wanted two bettas. I looked through the selection and picked out a stunning pair. One had a black body and neon pink fins. The other was a dark pink, almost purple, and had a neon yellow body and a neon yellow tail. In real life these would most likely be dyed, but in my dream these were their natural colors.
Seeing bettas in that condition was depressing, but it was interesting to see the colors they were.
