When I come to the desk he opens his neck dead at me I don't know why

its fine he dsnt hate you hes just protecting his space they all do it at some point some even do it when they are happy in my exp

he is just showing off and protecting his territory, thats the reason why when keeping other fish with bettas you need to add the other fish first so he doesnt claim the whole tank as his territory and then some fish come into it as he will puff up and then severely injure them

He's just making funny faces at you! Mine do that to me as well, then they strut their stuff and build me a nest! that is what makes bettas so neat!
