My betta died

I found my betta motionless at the bottom of the tank this morning and I have no idea why He seemed just fine yesterday,he was eating and everything

Poor Bruce I will miss him

I did go out and buy another one,hes very cute but Im still a little heartbroken over Bruce

I wasn't aware fish could get mentally attached to another fish enough to die of heartbreak.

I have heard of Cichlids getting freaked out when one parnter dies. Not about Bettas though, since Bettas don't pair.
