Bettas do good in 1 gallon bowls with water changes. I had one that I had to move up to a 5 gallon so he would be happy. I just got a 10 gallon I plan on either making a divided tank out of or maybe just putting one in. I am slowly getting the plants to do it and have to decide on if it will be filtered or do the water changes, also the type of substrate I want.
